This is an original press photo. The Milwaukee Flyers, playing in the southern division of the Wisconsin-Upper Penninsula amateur hockey league, scored their third victory in five games at the expense of the Oconto Falls Pirates, 13-2, on the Eckel park rink in West Allis Sunday afternoon. Bill Howland, veteran Flyer forward, scored three goals in the first period. On this particular shot, though, the puck (arrow) was deflected by goalie Bob Ellner of Oconto Falls. Behind Howland is defenseman Don Rabideau of the Pirates. At the left is Jerry Kloppenburg of the Flyers.Photo measures 11.25 x 7.75 inches. Photo is dated 01-16-1956.
