This is an original press photo. Lean on that stick, and she can't do anything but dive, catch on? Anyway, it works with a broomstick, and that's as close as these men in training as enlisted pilots at Maxwell Field, headquarters of the Southeast Air Corps Training Center, have come so far to actual flying. It won't be long, though, and Aviation Student Sgt. E. L. Regula is brushing up on the theory of it all. Helping with suggestions of their own are follow students Staff Sgt. S. L. Batt, kneeling, Cpl. S. Hass, Jr.; Pvt. P. A. Manfre and Pfc. R.L. Farris. The men will leave for primary fly-ng schools in the Southeast soon to find out how accurate the theory Photo measures 8 x 10 inches. Photo is dated 03-02-1912.
