This is an original press photo. Flushing, NY...Frank Goldsborough 19 year old son of the late Brice Goldborough, Aeronautical engineer and pilot who was lost at sea on the first leg of a Transatlantic flight with Mrs. Francis Grayson three years ago, landed this afternoon at the New York city airport in flushing. He had come from Los Angeles in three and a half days in his small sport plane. His actual flying time was 28 hours and 18 minutes and gives him the Junior Transcontinental record. Photo shows him being greeted by his mother Mrs. Margaret Goldsborough upon his arrival. Photo measures 8 x 10 inches. Photo is dated 05-11-1930.
