This is an original press photo. For the longest formation flight ever undertaken by a service unit, five RAF flying boats of No 204 general reconnaissance Squadron are being prepared at Plymouth. They will take off next week and by the time they return in Spring will have flown 25,000 miles to Australia and back. The visit is made in connection with 150th anniversary celebrations of city of Sydney, Three members of the flight blowing up life saving jackets, These are tropical flying suits and incorporate parachute harness.
