Hollywood - Three film players who played leading roles in the most controversial film in the history of the movies, "The Birth of a Nation," get together at MGM studios for the first times since they finished the memorable picture 40 years ago. They are, left to right, Mae Marsh, Lillian Gish and Donald Crisp. All went on to Hollywood stardom in the intervening years. W.D. Griffith, who directed the classic, died in Hollywood in 1948.
