This is an original press photo. Colin P. Kelly III, 19. son of World WarII hero Colin Kelly Jr., gets measured for his cadet greys by army tailor William Kucera at the U.S.Military Academy today. Kucera also measured the youth's father when he was a cadet, Kelly, known as corky, took oath as member of the class of 1963. He became a cadet by taking a comppetitive examination. At the time of the death of Corby's father during the bombing of a Japanese cruiser, President Frenkling D. Roosevelt in a letter to "the President in 1956." recommended the appoinment of the hero's son.Photo measures 8 x 9.25inches. Photo is dated 07-07-1959.
