This is an original press photo. Chief Warrant Officer Edward J. Murray (left) of Dayton, Ohio, tells other officers of his experience after parachuting to earth from 20,000 feet in a test of a new escape capsule at Edwards Air Force Base, California, today. The capsule was rocket-ejected from a B58 bomber. It is designed for emergency ejections of crewmen from supersonic-speed bombers. Other officers are Lieutenant Colonel George Harchalk; Lieutenant Colonel Stanley H. Bear and Lieutenant Colonel Earl Udick. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 02-28-1962.
