This is an original press photo. Menominee county, that last bit of wilderness real estate in Wisconsin's midsection, is veined with rivers and speckled with lakes. It is trout country. Where the west branch of the Wolf river cuts a tunnel through the trees, fishermen prepared to lure trout last week. Some small fish were caught, but the bruisers that remain are smart. When flies hatch and soar and speck the surface, the trout will become gluttons. Then some big ones may make the fatal mistake and fishermen, in the dark caverns back in the woods, will be happy.Photo measures 7.75 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 05-19-1966.
