This is an original vintage press photo, not a reproduction or digital copy. Dawn Addams loses court battle Actress Dawn Addams lost a £10,000 court battle over her life story. A high court judge ordered her to pay £2,500 to ghost writer Jack Aitken. She was also ordered to pay the costs of his eight-day action for breach of contract, estimated at about £7,500. Mr. Justice Mars-Jones ruled that Miss Addams had broken an oral agreement with Mr. Aitken when she sold her story to the People newspaper for £8,500. Mrs. Aitken had claimed £5,600 as a 40% share of the £14,000 he said he could have got for the story. But the judge said he did not think Mr. Aitken, of Mountview Road, Ornington, Kent, could have sold it for more than £10,000. Photo Shows: Dawn Addams in London yesterday.
