This is an original press photo. William Hodges, assistant director of the Air Education Museum of the Experimental Aircraft Association, likes well decorated planes, But he has to admit that an owner can go too far. For example, he said, a historic Stinson SM-8A recently donated to the museum has a colorful mural on each side of the plane. Now at the museum's facilities at the Burlington Airport, the 1932 plane will be repainted to its original authentic colors. It had a number of owners through the years and was donated to the museum by Airline Capt Andrew Ross, 45 of Beacon, NY. Photo measures 10 x 7.75inches. Photo is dated 12-26-1973.
