This is an original press photo. A scene of icy beauty - as members of Jacques Cousteau's latest expedition poke their small boats cautiously across an Antarctic waterscape composed of jagged floes and a few basking seals. This and more results of 4 1/2 months of exploration will be seen in four documentary shows to be televised this season. Cousteau explains that he now concentrates on documentaries for TV rather than pure research because of his belief that popular understanding - and thus control - must keep pace with science. Photo measures 11.25 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 11-08-1973.
