This is an original press photo. Presenting a pewter mug to Douglas McIlhenny, (right), aviation director of the Chamber of Commerce, in ceremonies at New Orleans International Airport are three local Eastern Airlines executives, celebrating Eastern-British Airways New Orleans-to-London service. They are (from left) Mickey Schelhaus, senior sales representative; George Robinette, manager of passenger sales and services; and Bill Johnson, city ticket office manager. The new daily flight involves taking an Eastern 727 to Washington D.C., then transferring to a British Airways 747 - totaled a nine hour and 42 minute flight to Lonfon, which airline representative say is one and one half hours shorter than their closest competitor.
