This is an original press photo. Frank Tallman, a stunt pilot who performed daredevil sky tricks for movies and television, was killed when his twin engine plane crashed into a mountain as he flew home from scouting a movie location, officials said. Tallman would have been 59 Monday. Among the films in which Tallman flew were "Catch 22" and "its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World," in which he flew a plane through a billboard.Photo measures 11 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 04-17-1978.
