This is an original press photo. Cleaning up a worker made his way along the sidewalk near North Point Thursday, clearing away rocks that were thrown up during the winter. high water levels in Lake Michigan and waves have combined to erode parts of the lakefront and officials fear that there could be flooding this spring and summer. Left This year waves have continued to pound the shoreline, seen in this aerial photo taken along N. Lake Dr. Above in April 1986 a worker cleared rocks that were tossed over the sidewalk at Mckinley Beach. Today waves tap at a retaining wall placed on that side walk.Photo measures 9 x 10.75inches.
