The original plane, flown by Charles Lindbergh, was the first to be flown solo non-stop between New York and Paris. The original plane can be seen at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. The flight put the spotlight on the seasonal opening of the Pioneer Airport at the Experimental Aircraft Association's Air Adventure Museum in Oshkosh, scheduled for Saturday.
